Joanna Lamond Lumley

Joanna Lumley is an English actress born 1st of May 1946 in Srignagar Kashmir. She is also a former model and human right activists, most popularly know for your active support for the Gurkhas. She was born to Major James Rutherford Lumley, who served in 6th Gurkha Rifles, a regiment the British Indian Army, and to Beatrice Rose Weir.
After the independence of India in the year 1947, Lumleys moved to Malaya (present day Malaysia) later moved back to settle in Kent, England. She has played in many movies and TV shows. She has also recorded welcome greeting: "Welcome to AOL" and "You have post" for AOL United Kingdom.
But her popularity rose high in 2008 when she became the public face for the Gurkha Justice Campaign. Her popularity just sky rocketed higher than she has been before, which she didn’t receive or could gain being in TV show, movies or voice-artist and modelling.
