Gulf War

Gulf War a UN authorised military conflict between Iraq and the coalition force from 34 different nations. It began in the month of August in the year 1991, after Iraq in Saddam’s command invaded the Gulf state of Kuwait in 1990. About million coalition troops with thounsands of tanks, armour vehicles and fighters, bombers and various other war weapons were involved to liberate Kuwait from Iraqi invasion .
To widen the conflict and tension between the coalition and the Arab nations, Iraq fired Scud missiles into Israel. But, US warned Israel not to retaliate against it. During the Gulf War conflict, allied missile killed about 314 Iraqi when it hit air raid shelter in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad. Scud missiles from Iraqi force hit the building in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia killed 28 US troops and injuried nearly 100 troops.
Saddam orders hir Iraqi troops to retreat from Kuwait. Later Kuwati troops enters Kuwait City and President Bush Senior announces the liberation of Kuwait from Iraq and Saddam. Iraq accepts all UN’s resolutions and the Gulf War ends.
