Is Africa a country?

Sarah Palin, the vice-presidental candidate of the US Republican party for presidental election 2008 didn’t know Africa was the continent, just like Europe-which is not a country but continent. She in fact thought it was a country.
This Alaskan governer, a big spender of dollars on clothes didn’t know which countries were part of North American Free Trade Agreement [NAFTA]. She was also recorded being tricked by two Canadian comedians pretending to be French president Nicolas Sarkozy. Palin’s staff did not know the name of the French president. All this is coming to light after the defeat of presidental election 2008.
